The Starting Point: A Silent Invitation
In this space, the white canvas is like a piece of untouched paper, waiting for the audience's gaze and projection. There are no colors, no lines, but infinite possibilities. This is not only the starting point of the work, but also the entrance to the mind - inviting you to have a conversation with the canvas, to think about where the creation begins.
"Carving Out Shapes That Don't Exist.
The artist works on the theme of 'negative form' - not the sculpture itself, but the parts of it that are not carved. These works leave clear holes and grooves, as if they were absent objects. The viewer will unconsciously "fill in" these shapes, reconstructing in his mind a sculpture that never existed.
Where the Light Stops
The works in this area focus on the movement of natural light and shadow: the afternoon light falling from a window, the swaying shadows of a tree on a wall, the yellow-orange stains cast by a streetlight. These images do not emphasize events, but rather how light makes an ordinary space visible and memorable. What you see is the shape of light, and the proof of time's short stay.
Waking from the Dirt
Before there were writing, cities, and kingdoms on this land, early man began to think about how to live, record, and create. This exhibit features dozens of prehistoric artifacts from Taiwan and East Asia-stone axes, pottery, jade jewelry, and animal bone implements, each of which has survived thousands of years of weathering and change in time, yet still retains strong traces of life.
